Jason Lee holds Leo, the star of the upcoming movie "Underdog," at the movie's premiere on July 30, 2007 in New York.
He's better known now for his acting career than the one that came before it, but Jason Lee's first love in life was skateboarding. He co-founded a board company in his early twenties and, along with skateboard legend Tony Hawk, was one of the first boarders to have his own signature Airwalk shoe. After appearing in a few boarding movies and music videos, Lee left skateboarding to become a fulltime actor, teaming up with Kevin Smith on the 1995 comedy 'Mallrats.' That was the first of six collaborations between the pair, with Lee also starring in films like 'Chasing Amy' and 'Dogma.' Lee has also done voice work for animated films such as 'Underdog' and The Chipmunks series, and played the lead role in TV's 'My Name is Earl.'
