Providing the Toronto Maple Leafs don't make the Stanley Cup playoffs, they would remain one of only two NHL teams to have not made the postseason since the NHL lockout. The Leafs haven't been involved in hockey's second season since 2003-04 when Mats Sundin, Joe Nieuwendyk, Gary Roberts, Bryan McCabe and co. led the team past the Ottawa Senators in the opening round. Things may be improving in Leafs Nation, but the blue and white won't be ending their infamous Stanley Cup drought any time soon.
