Once an emerging hockey star who was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings, there's a good chance Tom Glavine had broken a rib or two while confined to the hockey rink. But it was while under contract in Major League Baseball that the future Hall of Fame pitcher suffered his more notable stomach-area injury. While with the Atlanta Braves, the two-time Cy Young Award winner allegedly broke a rib while throwing up an in-flight meal. Talk about a bad airplane experience.
