Back before the NFL fashion police got serious with fines for anyone who didn't wear league-approved apparel, there was a lot more sartorial splendour on the sidelines every Sunday. Perhaps no player was more fashionable than New York Jets quarterback 'Broadway' Joe Namath, who kept warm on the sidelines in a full length fur coat. While his teammates shivered in the cold, Namath relaxed right next to them on the bench, wrapped up in furry elegance.
