Car racing fans can't get enough of the sound of high-powered engines that cuts through the air at every track. Whether it's the high-pitched whine of a finely-tuned F1 car or the deep, throaty growl of a full field of NASCAR racers, it's an auditory experience like no other, making ear plugs or protective headphones a must for many. Nothing, however, is as loud as drag racing, where the super-charged cars generate such a racket, even NASCAR veteran Kurt Busch complained, saying "it feels like someone is sticking a Taser in your ear."
