For starters, he's the best player on the nation's top-ranked team. He entered the season considered by many as the frontrunner for player of the year, and has done little to change that perception. He leads the unbeaten Hoosiers in scoring at 15 points per game, makes better than 60 percent of his shots (putting him in the top 15 in the nation) and averages more than 7 rebounds per game.
